100 WC Week 4

Movie Theaters

My eyes were glued to the action. Suddenly it looked like black ink overflowed on the screen while credits started playing.
"I hated that movie!" I complained.
" No complaining, I got ice cream." My friend, Ashley said.
We devoured our ice cream while walking to her house. Two hours went by but later that day, I went into panic mode.
"Ashley, I dropped my money during the movie!" I shout.
"I guess the money decided to abandon you." She responds jokingly.
Ashley's dad drives me to the theaters and I run around searching for the money. Let's just say I'm still 10 dollars poor.

100 WC Week 3

Lilac Sky

"Whenever you're ready." My teacher told me.
The feeling of eyes scanning you during public speaking was terrifying. Abruptly I slammed the door behind me, put my earphones on, and ran away from the school. My sneakers slammed against the cement as my favourite song came on and the lyrics floated throughout my head.
"You were red and you liked me 'cause I was blue. But suddenly I was a lilac sky. Then you decided purple wasn't for you."
I stared at the mountains in the distance and noticed it started to rain. Grabbing the hard handle of my umbrella, I unhurriedly walked home.

100 Word Challenge Week 2

The High Dive

"Can I have your things when you die?" My sister asked.
"You wish." I reply.
I walked to the high dive and as I join the queue, my mind was yelling at me not to do it but my feet stayed put. It was my turn to dive or as I would've said my turn to die.
My feet left the board, my eyes closed shut, taking a breath and I land in the water.Opening my eyes I notice a light coming towards me. Suddenly I'm on my back with sunshine beaming into my eyes and waves of water from the pool splashing me.

100 WC Week 1 by Stitch

Cupcake Mountain

Dan and Phil, climbed out of the toy box they lived in and went to get cinnamon sticks, for their mother to bake with, on Cupcake Mountain.
“ Be careful and don't get eaten.” Their mother told them.
They walked to the kitchen and found the mountain. They climbed for hours and survived cinnamon storms and marshmallow avalanches.
“ We can finally rest but don’t forget the cinnamon." Phil said.
“ Phil, look!” Dan yelled.
Standing in front of them was a young girl ready to eat. They quickly took the cinnamon and slid down the mountain, escaping the girl.
